Baked Pears

This is easy dessert:

Cut ripe pears in half and core them.

Sprinkle the pears with nutmeg, ginger cloves and cinnamon.

Bake them in oven for 45 minutes. I put them in oven with what ever I happen to be baking that evening.

We eat them without any topping, but they are also excellent with frozen yogurt or low fat ice cream.

Pears are in season now, so give this a try.
