Sauted Scallops

Scallops are quick and easy to cook. I cook them often and put them on top of a salad or serve them with whole wheat pasta and marinara  sauce.

  • 6-8 sea scallops per person
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil
  • lemon half

dry the scallops; coat the skillet with olive oil and heat it on high heat; place the seasoned scallops in skillet and cook each side    2 1/2-3 minutes. Do not over cook them. Squeeze the juice from the lemon over the scallops.
