Balsamic Maple Glazed Salmon

8 Jul

Balsamic vinegar is so versatile. You can use it on salads, meats, and even with fruit. This glaze is crazy fast and gives great flavor for salmon or for grilled vegetables.

Glaze ingredients:

  • 4 tbs balsamic glaze
  • 1 tbs dijon mustard
  • 1 tbs maple syrup
  • 1 glove of garlic, minced

Mix all of the above ingredients together. Set a side.

  • 1 salmon fillet
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbs thinly sliced green onion

Season the salmon fillet with dash of salt if desired and with fresh ground pepper. Bake in 400 degree oven  for 15 minutes or grill on medium high heat about 12-15 minutes. Brush the salmon with the glaze and cook 2 more minutes.  Drizzle some glaze on a plate before placing the fish on it. Top the fish with scallion and serve with veggies.

It was easy. I used the same glaze on grilled eggplant and it was amazing combination.
