Zesty Marinated Salmon

I have not been able to do much cooking with a broken arm, but now that I am able to do little bit more, grilling is a great option. It is easy enough to prepare a marinate and throw the fish on the grill. My husband and I thought this was a home run!

  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  •  salmon fillet

Mix all of the ingredients together except the salmon.
Pour marinade into a resealable plastic bag or glass bowl. Add salmon to marinade and gently toss to coat. Place into refrigerator and marinate 2 to 24 hours.
Prepare an outdoor grill for medium-high heat.
Drain excess marinade from salmon fillets. Place the salmon on soaked cedar plank, skin side down. Grill until fish is flakey.
