Teriyaki Sauce for Fish or Chicken

Homemade sauces are always tastier than store bought. I made this zesty sauce in 10 minutes and used it for salmon and chicken. Next time I will double the recipe so I will have some left over for an other day.

  • 1/2 cup gluten free soy sauce
  • 2 tbs water
  • 2 tbs sweet rice wine (rice vinegar)
  • 2 tbs brown sugar
  • 3 tbs honey
  • 1 glove of garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger paste or fresh minced ginger

In a small saucepan heat all of the ingredients together over medium high heat. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Cool completely  before marinating the fish or poultry.
