About FitFinn

   I am a personal trainer and Pilates instructor. I love to cook  for my family and my friends.  I have been cooking healthy for my husband who needs to lose weight and lower his cholesterol. I could eat the same thing every day, but for him I have had to come up with new healthy  and tasty recipes. In the past six months, my hubby has lost 20 pounds. Now he would rather eat at home than go out for dinner at restaurants. I love to serve simple, beautiful meals in a calm setting with a good glass of wine. 

I used to make desserts often, but now I just make them occasionally. When I do make desserts I don’t want anyone to feel guilty eating them. I avoid refined sugar as much as possible. Enjoy these treats, but remember everything in moderation.

Since I started this blog, I have learned the importance nutrition plays in our bodies. I am a life long learner, and I have decided to seek more knowledge on nutrition. Therefore, I enrolled in college course through University of California and took a course on nutrition. I am also finishing a course from Vanderbilt. Next I will be taking an interesting course on flavors. I hope to learn good and helpful information that I can share with my family and readers.

    Tiina… I looked over your recipes adn they looked fabulous!! Joe and I are getting on low carb diet after gaining few pounds due to moving to Holland and eating cheese and local cakes!!! I am going to try few of your salmon recipes to start with as we love salmon!!! Thanks for making this blog!! 🙂
